MAD Artists Initiative

Studio Madography helps foster young artists’ growth and development through our MAD Artists Initiative. We volunteer our time, donate resources, and 10% of our earnings from Workshops, Tours, Classes, Photo Walks and Safaris to arts-centered nonprofits located throughout the greater Rocky Mountain and Southwest regions of the United States.

By teaming together and highlighting some of the area’s most celebrated venues… Vail, Aspen, Telluride, Moab and Santa Fe, Studio Madography’s work is laying the foundation for lasting relationships while allowing our continued investment in today’s up and coming artists. So join American photographer, cinematographer & writer Doug Mayhew for one of our MAD Arts Instructional Series Workshops, Tours, Classes, Photo Walks or Safaris, and help support Studio Madography’s commitment to young artists of the American West.

I am an artist. I endeavor for that which speaks to me. When creating for myself, there are no boundaries. My visual storytelling is an extension of that process; creating original imagery, crafting scenes of motion, and writing about my experiences are rewarding… though themselves together not necessary. Ever-ready for that next grand adventure, one steeped in imagery, worthy of paper and pen.   — Madographer
